MEZZA FILIGRANA BIANCO
This collaboration was inspired by the mid-century work of artist Dino Martens and his use of traditional Venetian techniques in modern pieces. The three-piece collection includes a DOF, Footed Glass, and a Mixing Pitcher. Each shape has been carefully considered for versatile everyday use.
Mezza Filigrana or half filigree is a technique originating on the island of Murano. Canes of colored glass twist around the glass in a delicate spiral pattern. The technique requires careful handling by skilled glass blowers, there are no molds or machine processes used.
